Asbury Challenge

Asbury by Thomas Knauer for Andover Fabrics

On the heels of the Madrona Road Challenge, I have another challenge for the guild!  Andover Fabrics has given me charm packs of Asbury by Thomas Knauer to use for a guild challenge.  See my blog tomorrow for some inspiration!

I will bring the charm packs to the March 2nd meeting and projects will be due at the April 6th meeting.  The challenge is open to anyone who is a member of the Seacoast Modern Quilt Guild.  Please consider the deadline before committing to the project.  If you are not going to be able to come to the April 6th meeting, I will need you to email me a good quality picture of your final project taken in natural lighting with a neutral background before the meeting.  I will plan on bringing a backdrop and taking the projects outside to photograph at the April meeting so that we have pictures for the blog.  I'm letting you know about the challenge now so you can start thinking and will be ready to sew as soon as the charm pack gets into your hands!

Edited to add--there are no rules for the competition.  Be as creative as you would like.  The Asbury line should be showcased so let's keep it to Asbury and solids only but make what you would like!

If you want to join the challenge, please email me at amybfriend@gmail.com.

Thank you to Andover Fabrics for this opportunity!
