Victoria Findlay Wolfe

When it rains, it pours!  Not only is Lizzy House going to be in the area this fall, so is Victoria Findlay Wolfe.  She will be exhibiting a quilt at the New England Quilt Museum and has agreed to come speak to our guild!

Victoria is a New York City based quilter, fabric designer, and author of 15 Minutes of Play, Improvisational Quilts, founder of NYC MOD quilters, Board member of the Quilt Alliance and Founder of BumbleBeansBASICS (a community quilt drive for those in need).  Born and raised on a farm in Minnesota, she credits her quilting influences to her grandmother's double knit crazy quilts that kept her warm growing up.  Her biggest supporters are her husband and daughter.

Victoria also won best in show at QuiltCon with Double Edged Love.

To read more about Victoria:

The lecture will be held on October 18, 2013, a Friday evening from 7-9 at 381 Main Street, West Newbury, MA.  The lecture will be held in the Annex, the back part of the 1910 Building.  Additional parking is available behind the building.

Members of the SMQG and BMQG pay $5 at the door.  Guests are welcome and can pay $10 at the door.

You should always be aware of the rating for each game. Some games may look like they are aimed at children but have objectionable content that is not apparent from the box or other promotional materials. Make your purchase decision after you have reviewed what aspects the rating is applied on, like violence or language.

If you are unsure if you can play a game on your computer, look to see if the game is supported by your version of Windows. This type of site checks out your computer to see if it's adequate. If you don't want to download something then be sure that you get rid of it as soon as you check if you're able to play it.
