Unfortunately, like most of the world we have Covid Cancellations:Spring RetreatKathy Doughty workshop in July

17 members were in attendance! So technology CAN work! GO Guild members!

First order of business was to check in, say hello, and share our activities. We are staying home, except for that exciting grocery run, general quilting, sewing masks, attending virtual retreats, watching tutorials and webinars. A number of us are working from home, and helping students with their distance learning as well.

Our president asked that you read the March Minutes that she sent out with invitation to the May 2nd meeting, and let Kate know if you have changes that need to be made.

Charity
Paula suggested having a sew-in next time we get together. We could make “snap” pouches that would hold toiletries. Email Paula if you know of a charity that would like to be the recipient of these pouches.

We also talked about making baby quilts. Seacoast Family Promise (which serves homeless families on the Seacoast) could be a recipient? Maybe we could also use some of our charity quilts to donate to older kids. We have at least 3-4 in the container.
In terms of charity, the members decided to focus on making baby quilts to distribute to needy children. JoAnne said she would research places/organizations that could benefit from these quilts. The 'snap pouch' idea will probably be done at a later date.

Strawbery Banke

Because of the Covid situation we don’t know if they’ll hold this event this year. Discussion about possible other venues was opened, no decisions reached. If you know of a venue for fall or later please let Kate know.
