Show and Tell:
Patty showed us a quilt she is making for her sister and another she is making for a colleague using Rachel Rossi's "Starline" pattern. She also mentioned a new fabric and yarn shop in Methuen, Mass called Cuckoo Nana's Yarn & Fabric in Methuen.
Several members are making progress on our Block of the Month program. Lou, who is using red, white, and blue fabric, is on block #6. Theresa showed us two of her blocks, including a beautiful one with Anna Maria Horner fabric in the middle square (see top block, below).
Paula showed us a 20-inch by 20-inch table topper in green with the pattern "One Big Star" that she will give to friends for their 40th wedding anniversary.
JoAnne displayed her progress on the "Gravity" quilt by Jaybird Quilts.
Barb B. won the door prize this month.
The rest of the meeting was a sew-in. Our next meeting is scheduled for August 7 on Zoom.
