Once we have a final list of members our roster will be updated. Carol will be reaching out to members if address and/or telephone #’s are needed.
The membership roster can be
distributed to members and must include a disclaimer stating that the list will
not be used by members for business purposes.

Membership in MQG will be updated based on the number of members. Leaders to be updated on the website, payment to be made by PayPal.
Looking
for a Program volunteer coordinator to assist in coordinating program events
(i.e. workshops, speakers, etc.). Please
let Patty know if you’d like to volunteer.

variety of suggestions and areas that members would like to focus on this
year.

Modern Quilt Guild is having a free Color Block Challenge. Details will be coming out after Quilt Con. Colleen will check with MQG for parameters/guidelines.
Rachelle Dennehy (Australia) is doing a Tula Pink BoM. $85 flat fee
Amanda Murphy, a fabric designer who designs for Benartex offers a Live BoM (free) every other Thursday (1st & 3rd)

SMQG is participating in the
Maker’s Market which is being held on April 8-9 at the Best Western in Hampton,
NH.
We’re reserving a table and will be looking for display items such as quilts (mini and large (charity quilt(s)), lottery blocks, BoM, scrapbook, posters, photo collage, etc. that reflect our Modern quilting.
Carol & Kate will be meeting with Maggie from Pintuck & Purl which is sponsoring the event to get details on the set up and what is allowed/not allowed for display structures. That information will be shared in our March meeting.
We’ll be looking for volunteers to
1. Cover 2-3 hour shifts on Friday
(12pm-8pm)
2. Cover 2-3 hour shifts on
Saturday (9am-4pm)

Future Meeting Dates and
Locations:
Regular
monthly meetings will be held on the first Saturday of each month at 10am-12pm (adjusted
for holiday weekends). Initially, 2022 meetings will be held remotely via
Zoom. Any changes for 2022 dates and/or
location will be announced in advance.
